Favourite Films/TV programs: Braveheart, Only Fools and Horses, Taggart and Ballamory. Favourite Cricket Club Memories: 3rd division cup final 1996 verses Pendine. Won 2-1 after being 1-0 down at half time. Neil scored both goals. Presentation of award in 2003/04 season to mark his 500th career injury. Least favourite Cricket Club Memories: Regular injuries which have dogged Neil's Cricket Club career. He intends to leave his body to medical science when he dies as he has managed to damage every single muscle, bone, sinew and joint known to man, twice. (And several unknown to man). Funniest Cricket Club Memories: Tudor Walters weekly cock-ups. Neil hilariously missed the target with 37 consecutive shots spanning eight matches in the 1999/2000 season. He is loved and admired by goalkeepers the length and breadth of Pembrokeshire. Things you would most like to change about Football: The weather. Play in the summer. (Good thinking from a Cricket Club player!!). Winners medals (all sports): Four winners medals in league and cup in Scottish amateur football league, RAF German cup winners, Belgium league 3rd division championship, Pembrokeshire 3rd division league and cup double 1996. Interests or interesting trivia about yourself or experiences: Although a rampant and ruthless scorer of goals, Neil has only been booked twice in his entire career. As can be seen from his previous clubs, he has been based all over Europe with the RAF but still retains his thick Dundee burr and fondness for wearing kilts. Neil's great, great uncle Mactavish Crawford established the famous family cracker firm in 1882 but unfortunately the company has long since been sold off leaving Neil penniless. |
